I come to you with decades of dependable experience both in audio post production and voice Overs for commercials. My career started in 1979 at Soundtrack Studios Boston/New York as a radio & television post production engineer. It was clear after working with some of the great talent in Boston that I wanted to get into voice overs. My first venture into the recording booth was not to do a voice over but sing a Howard Johnson's jingle. My first voice over record came quite serendipitously.
I was setting up for a recording session and the ad agency person I was working with informed me that the talent was unable to make it in. He asked me who we could find on such short notice. We were up against the clock so I suggested I give it a shot and the rest is history.
I am a voice over artist, a voice actor, and I can convey my message in many ways, in many tones and with many emotions.
I can speak in a very light whisper, to share an intimate message with you. Or my voice can boom deeply, demanding respect from those who are listening. My voice can express sympathy to someone who has just just experienced a great loss, or it can reflect the happiness one feels after having accomplished something great!
I sit (or stand) before a tube constructed of metals, of plastics, of wires and of silicon, which listens patiently to me, as if it were alive, like a mistress, hour after hour, day after day and night after night. It never judges me, however it is a reflection of me... one which is neither vengeful nor forgiving.
I am a voice actor.......
